While most college students spend their days trying to figure out a direction for their career, Cristina Vitiello had already found hers. Constantly designing and making jewelry, she turned a hobby into a full-time career when she sold her designs to her first store under the Cristina V. brand in 2005, while still a student at Boston College.
Once she graduated, demand for Cristina V. handcrafted designs continued to grow through her retail distribution and private trunk shows. Today, her designs have attracted the eye of celebrities like Sally Field, Jill Scott, and Marcia Gay Harden. Her pieces are sold at high-end boutiques in New York, Palm Beach, Philadelphia, Boston and other locations across the U.S. In addition to selling her pieces through stores, Cristina has sales reps and frequently does trunk shows in all the major cities including New York, Boston, Washington, Philadelphia, Chicago, Dallas and Los Angeles. Amazingly, Cristina still finds time to make many of the pieces herself, while supervising all other production.
