Cristina is pleased to introduce a new line of unisex brass bracelets, knotted on silk, which will be her first official Give Back Collection, donating a percentage of all sales to The Himalayan Project.
Customer and friend, Sally Hunsdorfer, has been traveling to Nepal for 10 years now. During her first visit with her family she began a dialogue with the headmaster in Chaurikharka, a village one week's walk northeast of Nepal's capital, Kathmandu. Sally learned that the most basic and essential needs of the village were not being met- mainly, shelter, education and the preservation of a culture barely clinging to existence. It was a desire to educate Nepali children, teach others about the Sherpa people, and organize trips for Westerners to visit that led to the creation of The Himalayan Project.
For each bracelet sold you can help educate a Nepali child, provide a fleece jacket for a Nepali child, or furnish a classroom with basic school supplies.
